The graph says it all. I played bad and ran pretty bad at the same time. I ran about $930 under EV and it's pretty sick. I never lost so much in my whole life of playing poker. I think the big problem I had was tilt and no stop loss. That caused me a couple of 10-buyin swings. For some reason 100nl tilt me like no other limits. I thought I was tilt proof lol.
On the other note, I had my best record of VPP/month. I got about 26K VPPs which was twice as much of my last record LOL. So nova is just around the corner. Hope that I can make the quarter freeroll on the 7th of November. I have about 91K vpp for the year, so it's only 9K vpp left. Can't wait to get there. This will be the first time I ever get nova. since 100nl is so swingy, I'm gonna move down to 50nl and play there until I get nova and than will see what I decide to do next.

ReplyDeleteHope your downswing turns around soon. Most important thing is to keep playing your A game through it. The beats and variance are brutal enough in this game we love to hate, and we shouldn't allow our lack of control to add fuel to the fire. Trust me we all tilt...but just wanted to give you some words of encouragement...cuz it is easy to lose sight of how many buyins you are dropping out of mistakes, frustration and tilt. Each time you stop yourself from giving into those negative emotions, you will be adding that much more to your winrate, discipline and sanity :)
