It's been a while since the last post.  In case you didn't know this is the on going thing for a while since Black Friday.  Like most people, I've been pretty busy with life and work.  From now on I will be posting only graphs once a month and what I'm playing.  You might ask why do it instead of completely stop blogging?  I'd like to do it to track my results and also to  remind me keep on grinding.  I also like to read my fellow grinders' blogs to see what is going on with them and the poker world.  Lately I've been playing quite a bit of Double or Nothing on Merge.  It seems like it's the game I can consistently win.  So I'm going to stick to it.  We'll see how long it will last, lol.  I've been playing the DoNs in the range of $2-$22.  Pretty much I win everything except the $22s.   Here is the graph for the year so far.  FYI, big deep before the 1K games mark is when I tried to play $22s.

Where to?

Sup guys/girls!

I've been slacking off about blog updates lately due to no interesting things to say or show. I've been all over the tables: single table SNGs, MTTs, cash games, HU, super turbos, normal turbos, etc. I'm really confused and don't know what to. I can't focus on one game (ADD/ADHD?). I'm bouncing all over the place and trying to stick to what I want. I need help finding the right game and the game I can win consistently. I always start one game, crush it for a week or two, love it, and than hit a downswing, than BOOM, I hate the game and quit. This seems to happen all the time! I'm not sure what it is, maybe lack of motivations?

The last 3 months are pretty much all SNGs. I played quite a bit of super turbos. I like it cause it's all push or fold and it's really quick. I can play minimum of 60 games an hour. These are about the only games that run consistently on Merge network. Everything else is super slow to load up. Overall I'm a slight winner pre-rakeback, some where around 1% ROI. I'M very pleased with the results. Most people don't know how hard it is to beat these super tourbos. The best regs only get 2-3% ROI in the games. The edge is really small so most players here are in for the rakeback. It's a brutal game, you can go on a 200-300 buyins swings everyday or week easily. This is what I'm experiencing ATM. So I stopped and am taking a break from it. The last 2 weeks are HU SNGs and mixed in some single table SNGs. They both been really good for me. So right now, I'm debating which one I should focus on. Money wise I should stick to single tables where I play a little bit higher stakes. HU games are at the lowest stake and will be moving up soon.

So that's my dilemma at the moment, lost and confused :) Oh well, we'll see what happens next. On a positive note my bankroll is at all time high $1,273 +$35 I spent on a super turbo coaching session. That's all folks!

One downswing deserves an upswing

Hello guys/girls. Sorry I haven't post much lately, been pretty much lazy. Cash games have been the worst ride ever. My perfect graph was destroyed a a week. I grinded it up from 4NL and than 10NL without seeing one bit of a swing at all. It looked like nanonoko's graph for a second. To make the story short, I moved up 50nl and got crushed. You can see the graph below, steady graph from the beginning and than BOOM down hill 100 miles/hour.

At one point my roll was down under $300. That was pretty sick that the highest point was over $700. Huge chunk of my roll went away quite fast. I believe it was about 2 weeks. No matter how I played, things went against me. It got boring quick so I decided to mess around with some SNGs. I never liked turbo SNGs, but for some reasons I loaded up some super turbos just to kill some time since they are super fast. To say the least I ran very hot. As you can see the graph below (in b4 downswing). Basically everything I lost is now recovered with some rakeback. The roll is at all time high $906.84. BOOYA!

Hot Like The Sun

For the record I have won 11 out of 12 days I played this month of October. I'm running super hot and playing well at the same time. This is by far the longest heater I have ever experienced. My calls and bluffs are spot on. Poker has never been this easy (knock on woods) LOL. My winrate at 10nl this month is 24bb/100 over 10K hands. So that's about 26 buyins so far. Though I lost some 4nl and 25nl I played a few hands. These losses are small so nothing to worry about. My main game is now 10nl. Hopefully I can move up next month to 25nl. My roll is about to be enough at 25nl. At this rate my roll will be $500 by end of month.

I'm currently in 2nd place for top winner at 10NL on Merge Network this month. I'm kind of excited for it :) Obviously PTR missed a lot of hands but it's not too much off my real winnings. Here is a screenshot for it. Never thought I'd get a "steady eddie" batch :) Also I've added a cool widget from PTR on right side of this blog. Check it out! I'll probably gonna regret posting my screen name here :) People gonna steal my blinds every chance they get now LOL. Oh well, bring it on!

Below is my month so far. Includes 4nl, 10nl, and 25nl. The all time graph is on the right pane, check it out.

Celebrating a New Milestone

Yep that's right, a milestone. It's been almost 2 months since I started the new challenge. Building my $20 roll from the ground up has been fun. I have crossed over the $200 mark. Guess what! I'm now at $222!!!

September Review

September went by quick and it was alright for the most part. Ended up +$36 for the month in profit. As you can see in the graph below, up, down, up, down :) So far things are going well for me. I run way above allin EV which means people get it in light against me. Another words, there are a lot of fish out there at these low limits. I have to say there are at least 3 fish on a table,
every table :)

At this rate I will be at 25NL real soon. I have been doing alright at 10NL this month October so far. So far I'm up about 6 buyins at 10NL over 2K hands. I know I'm going to get a doom switch after I posted this graph up . I'm a gambler, I'm going to take risks :) Here it is.

So a little bit over 1.5 months I've gone from $20 roll and turned it to $183. I'm really glad that it's going well. To be honest I'm completely satisfied with the results. Another month and I'm going to be at another limit. Keep moving on up! After all, that is the ultimate goal.

I'm rich biatch! LOL

If you are wondering about the all time graph. Here it is.

Moving on up

I have been pretty much breaking even (+1.5 buyins) at 4NL over 10K hands. That was boring as hell so I decided to start up some 10NL tables. Found a huge fish on 2 of my tables. He shoved pre 100bb every hand literally. Huge whale about to lose his roll, right? At the time I was thinking "wow, this is going to be a gift to my roll." At the tables every one else already doubled up from this whale. I called his shoves exactly 4 times and guess what? I got it in every time as a huge favorite, but managed to lose 3 out of 4 times LOL. I was not really worry at all about those losses. I knew I'd get everything back and more if I keep on staying at the tables. Obviously I was not rolled for it so at one point I had to quit a few tables in order to free up some money to rebuy on those tables with the fish. A few hands later after doubled up through me a few times, he left! OMFG, never felt so tilted in my life!

I felt 10NL was not much difference than 4NL. I decided to stick with it even though my roll is way too low for it. To make the story short, I got all my losses back and more a few days later. Here is the graph for the month so far below. My all time graph is at all time high right now, $113 LOL. So 11 buyins at 10NL should be good enough. Unless I run horrible, I'm comfortable with it being only 11 buyins.
