Oh hello strangers! It's been quite a long time since my last post. I was basically gave up on poker after I ended the staking deal 2 weeks after it started. My little new born has eczema and it was getting pretty bad. AT the time I couldn't get much hands in and wasn't really winning either. So I decided to quit the staking deal. I chose to spend a lot more time with the new born. I ended up $50. So 50% of it was for the stakers. It was not much at all but at least it was +EV for them. Too bad it could've been a lot more if I didn't end the deal. It was nice of them to let me off the contract on my own terms. Thank you guys!
After a month off and I was bored and played a few hands here and there and lost $5 from my $25 roll. So I had $20 left. I was thinking, what am I going to do with 20 bucks LOL. Maybe I should just enter a single table SNG and get it over with. Or just sit on a 25NL table. If I win I'll continue and if I lose, it will be the end of online poker FOREVER! As a bank roll nit, that didn't happen LOL. Well nothing really happened cause I never logon and played.
A couple of weeks ago, I decided to do something a lot of poker players have done before. Since my baby is feeling a lot better and growing out of eczema. I tried to run my $20 roll up and see how far I can get. I started to play some 4NL 6max tables. I know it's not a good bank roll management but that's the lowest stake there is at Merge Network :) So I played 4 tables with 5 buy-ins. To make the story short I tripled my bankroll with winnings and rakeback. I won about 10 buyins over 6K hands. Not too bad for a winrate ~15bb/100. It's a small sample size but I think I can maintain it from 10-15bb/100. The field is soft obviously it's only 4NL. All I can say is that I can never be below EV at at this stake. There are so many fish that are willing to get it in with 3rd pair :)
So this month, I'm going to continue on the same 4NL road. The goal is to play at least 15K hands with a similar winrate. With that being said, I should be one of the top winners in September at 4NL on Merge Network. Look out for the true micro grinder yo!
Good luck dude what's your screen name so we can follow your progress on PTR?
